Our South Kensington site will be closed on Friday 9 October 2026, as we’re hosting a charity gala. Get information about our cloakrooms, toilets, quiet spaces, cafes and shops to make sure your visit goes as smoothly as it can. You will receive a confirmation email after booking and a reminder email the day before your visit. You may be asked to return at your booked time or make a new booking if your slot has passed. However, please don’t worry if you are slightly early or late – the system has a time tolerance around your booking slot to accommodate this. If mixed waste and recycling is brought to the site this is limited to four visits per 28 days; for garden waste only, up to 6 visits per 28 days. If you are unable to attend your pre booked slot, please cancel your appointment using the link provided in the confirmation email received at the time of booking. As of Monday 24 August, fridges and freezers are able to be accepted at the recycling centre and on bulky waste collections.
